Tyler Watt is the 2022 Ontario Liberal Party Candidate for Nepean

April 12, 2021 – Tyler Watt, a Registered Nurse and community advocate, has become the Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) candidate for Nepean in the next provincial election.

“Tyler has a longstanding passion and history of standing up for those in his community, which is why I know he will make a fantastic representative for Nepean,” said OLP Leader, Steven Del Duca. “I’m very happy to have Tyler on our team as we get ready to take on Doug Ford in the next election.”

Watt is a Registered Nurse working on the front lines fighting for equity and dignity of life. He was born and raised in Nepean and is a locally based community organizer who is a fierce advocate for the rights of all Ontarians.

Watt is a truth-seeker when it comes to demanding better from our elected officials. He is progressive, policy-minded, and ready to take on our community and province’s most pressing issues.

“I want to bring my nursing lens, compassion, and progressive ideas to government that will benefit the people of Nepean and everyone in this province. We have a lot of issues that need to be addressed urgently – such as health care, the crisis in long-term care, climate change, affordable housing, and much more.”
