Ontario has been open for business for a long time.

On September 5th, Jim Wilson, Minister for Economic Development, held a news conference announcing that “Ontario is Open for Business.”

Ontario has been open for business for a long time.

Premier Ford and his government have inherited one of the strongest economies in North America.

Ontario has led the G7 in jobs and growth and we have the lowest unemployment in 20 years. We have been in the top three in North America for foreign direct investment for the past 5 years. Our schools and hospitals are strong, we have a clean reliable electricity system and there are public transit and road projects being built across the province. Ontario’s economy is strong.

The Conservatives are sending the wrong message to investors with impulsive actions like legislating out of contracts. To keep our economy strong the government needs to invest in those things that help families and businesses thrive – excellent schools, a strong health care system, public transit and infrastructure. #OnPoli
