Liberals in Oakville North-Burlington Nominate Kaniz Mouli as 2022 Ontario Liberal Party Candidate

March 18, 2021 – Liberals in Oakville North-Burlington have nominated Kaniz Mouli, a Bay Street professional and a community advocate, as their Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) candidate for the next provincial election.

“Kaniz has spent many years fighting for a better Ontario, and I know she will be an excellent representative for the people of Oakville North-Burlington,” said OLP Leader, Steven Del Duca. “I’m very happy to have Kaniz on our team as we get ready to take on Doug Ford in the next election.”

Mouli is a successful Bay Street management professional who works in the financial services sector. Prior to that, Mouli worked as a Senior Management Consultant for a multinational company with clients in both the public and private sector. She also has government experience and has served as an advisor for Cabinet Ministers at Queen’s Park.

Mouli has a track record of fighting for progressive change in our province. She has championed diversity and inclusion issues and has been an advocate for women in politics. A daughter of immigrants and proud Canadian, Mouli is committed to working towards creating a better future where all Ontarians who work hard have a chance to succeed.

Mouli lives in Oakville North-Burlington with her husband Dan and is a new mom to her son Zain.

“I am honoured and proud to represent the Ontario Liberal Party as the candidate for Oakville North-Burlington,” said Mouli. “As we are facing enormous challenges as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we need an effective representative at Queen’s Park that will listen to the concerns of our community and stand up for what matters.”
