Vote in a Leadership Election Meeting
Leadership Election Meetings (or LEMs) will take place on:
- Saturday, February 8, 2020
- Sunday, February 9, 2020
There will be an LEM in each of the 124 ridings across the province. Party members who signed up before the December 2 deadline will be eligible to cast a vote at their local LEM for a leadership candidate and delegates to the 2020 Leadership Convention.
Ridings in a given region will all cast their votes on the same day. There will be more information available in the coming weeks on LEM dates and times for each riding.
Become a Delegate
Delegates elected at LEMs will be eligible to attend the 2020 Leadership Convention on behalf of their riding association. Only supporters who are signed up as official members by the December 2 deadline will be eligible to stand for election as a delegate. More information about the delegate election process will be shared in the coming weeks.
Attend the 2020 Leadership Convention
The convention will be held at the International Centre in Mississauga on March 6-7, 2020. Only delegates and alternates elected in LEMs who pay the convention registration fee will be eligible to attend the convention. More information about the convention and related registration rates will be made available in the weeks ahead.
Become a Leadership Volunteer
The leadership process is being led by Secretary General Christine McMillan, Chief Returning Officer Jack Siegel, and the staff at Party Headquarters.
The leadership team will also need an army of neutral volunteers to help with data entry, event logistics, conducting LEMs, and executing the 2020 Convention. These volunteers cannot take a side in the race.
If you would like to become a neutral leadership volunteer, fill out the following application forms below:
All leadership volunteers will be required to sign and submit a Declaration of Neutrality form. That form can be found here:
Note: You can submit your Declaration of Neutrality directly to Party Headquarters by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
