Liberals in Oshawa Nominate Catherine Mosca as 2022 Ontario Liberal Party Candidate

December 1, 2021 – Liberals in Oshawa have nominated Catherine Mosca, a former financial executive and community volunteer, as their Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) candidate for the next provincial election.

“Catherine is a strong leader who has spent decades working to support her community and those that live in it,” said OLP Leader, Steven Del Duca. “I’m very happy to have Catherine on our team as we continue to prepare for the next provincial election.”

Catherine Mosca immigrated to Canada from the Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago over 27 years ago, and chose Oshawa as her and her family’s new home. Passionate about giving back to her community, she has been an active volunteer for over 20 years, assisting local palliative care, anti-racism, and cultural and political associations.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law, a Master’s of Science in Business Ethics and Compliance, and is the former Vice President of Compliance with a major banking institution.

“I am passionate about continuing to do more for our community, and I am thrilled to be on Steven Del Duca’s team as we fight for a better future for all Ontarians,” said Mosca. “As MPP for Oshawa, I will never stop working hard to make a meaningful difference for the Oshawa community, Region of Durham and Province of Ontario.”
