Ward 4 (St. Patrick’s) City Councillor Robin McPherson Nominated as Ontario Liberal Candidate for St. Catharines

ST. CATHARINES, ON – Robin McPherson, Ward 4 (St. Patrick’s) City Councillor for the City of St. Catharines, has been officially nominated as the Ontario Liberal candidate for St. Catharines.

“Robin McPherson has a proven track record of delivering more for St. Catharines—whether it’s helping revitalize downtown, supporting small businesses, or advancing community-driven solutions during difficult times.

“Robin understands the challenges families are facing in Ontario, and she’s ready to deliver real results.

“Together, we’ll make life more affordable, cut taxes, and ensure every family has access to the health care, education and housing they need. I’m thrilled to announce that Robin has been officially nominated as our Ontario Liberal candidate for St. Catharines!”

— Bonnie Crombie, Leader of Ontario’s Liberals

“Across Ontario, communities like St. Catharines are grappling with significant challenges—rising costs of living, a lack of affordable and accessible housing, and critical gaps in our healthcare system.

“Here in St. Catharines, residents face longer hospital wait times, overcrowded classrooms, and mounting difficulties in finding secure, affordable housing. Many are struggling to stay optimistic about what lies ahead.

“The current Conservative government has fallen short in addressing these pressing issues. What Ontario needs now is a leader with a bold vision and a comprehensive plan to uplift every Ontarian.

“That’s why I’m proud to stand with Team Bonnie. Together, we will work tirelessly to make housing more affordable, strengthen our healthcare system, invest in education, and restore hope—both for today and for future generations.”
