Statement from Steven Del Duca on Nursing Week

“This week, Ontario joins the rest of Canada in celebrating Nursing Week.

It is a time for us to recognize Canada’s nurses for all that they do, and come together to thank them for their commitment to keeping Ontarians, and all Canadians, healthy.

During this past year, nurses, and all healthcare workers, have sacrificed so much as they faced the COVID-19 pandemic head-on. These brave women and men never wavered in their commitment to ensure Canadians are cared for when so many needed help, and because of that, we owe them a world of gratitude.

On behalf of myself and the entire Ontario Liberal Party, I want to thank all nurses in Ontario for all that they have done, and all that they continue to do, as they fight to keep us all healthy.”
