Statement from Steven Del Duca on Bangladeshi Heritage Month

March is Bangladeshi Heritage Month, an opportunity to celebrate Ontario’s strong Bangladeshi community, and their many accomplishments and contributions to the fabric of our province.

Bangladeshi Ontarians have given so much to Ontario, helping build up the province as leaders in their own communities. I was proud to be part of a Liberal government, which proclaimed March as Bangladeshi Heritage Month, and I’ve been happy to celebrate every year since.

While this year’s celebrations will be different than any before, I have no doubts the Bangladeshi community will be able to celebrate safely, from home.

On behalf of myself and the Ontario Liberal Party have a wonderful Bangladeshi Heritage Month!
