Statement from Steven Del Duca on the 50th Anniversary of Bangladesh’s Independence

Today is the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh’s independence.

Bangladeshi Ontarians have given so much to Ontario, helping build up the province as leaders in their own communities.

While I know celebrations will be different this year, I know the Bangladeshi community will find safe ways to celebrate the occasion.

On behalf of myself and the Ontario Liberal Party, I send warm wishes to all Bangladeshi Ontarians and those celebrating the 50th anniversary of Bangladesh’s independence.
