Statement from Ontario Liberal Leader, Steven Del Duca on the passing of Bill Davis, Ontario’s 18th Premier

TORONTO – Steven Del Duca, Leader of the Ontario Liberal Party, issued the following statement:

“On behalf of the Ontario Liberal Party, I want to extend my condolences to the family of Premier Bill Davis on his passing this morning.

Premier Davis’ decades of public service as an elected representative, cabinet minister and Premier were the result of his dedication to community, and a belief in making Ontario a better place for all. He continued to demonstrate his passion for community and public service long after leaving politics, inspiring generations to follow in his footsteps.

Premier Davis’ love for Ontario and Canada was always at the heart of his work. He leaves behind a tremendous legacy to our province and to our country, and he will be greatly missed.”
