Liberals in St. Catharines Nominate Ryan Madill as 2022 Ontario Liberal Party Candidate

February 26, 2022 – Liberals in St. Catharines have nominated Ryan Madill, a captain with the St. Catharines Fire Services, as their Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) candidate for the next provincial election.

“As a firefighter, Ryan has shown a lifelong commitment to protecting his community and helping those who need it most,” said OLP Leader, Steven Del Duca. “By electing Ryan as their MPP, families in St. Catharines will have a proven leader in their corner at Queen’s Park.”

Ryan Madill was born and raised in St. Catharines and has served his community as a firefighter for 30 years. In 2001, Madill became a captain with the service and has served as President of the St. Catharines Professional Firefighters Association since 2011.

Madill is also a member of the St. Catharines Fire Services Master Plan Committee and St. Catharines Fire Services Line of Duty Death Memorial Committee.

“I would like to thank the Ontario Liberal membership of St. Catharines for placing their trust in me to represent them in the upcoming provincial election,” said Madill. “This is an honour of a lifetime, and I look forward to representing the people of St. Catharines at Queen’s Park as we fight for a better Ontario.”
