Sam Nestico Nominated as Ontario Liberal Candidate in York Centre

TORONTO, ON – Sam Nestico, a former Justice of the Peace and Past President of the Association of Justices of Ontario, has been officially nominated as the Ontario Liberal candidate for York Centre.

“For years, Sam faithfully served the people of Ontario as a Justice of the Peace, keeping our communities safe and ensuring that accountability remains a core tenet of life here in this province.

“With Doug Ford focused on rewarding his wealthy friends, I need Sam at Queen’s Park to help bring back a government that’s on your side. I’m excited to announce that Sam is officially your Ontario Liberal candidate for York Centre!”

— Bonnie Crombie, Leader of Ontario’s Liberals

“As a Justice of the Peace, I interacted with people from all across Ontario. I learned from those most impacted by the vast range of issues facing us all. I believe I was fair in all my dealings, but I could only address issues brought before me. Moreover, it was necessary for me to be apolitical and discreet.

“Now, as a private citizen, I can publicly declare my political thoughts and positions. The Ontario Liberal Party is the party which can best represent the interests of Ontarians. The OLP understands the concepts of investment and return, tempered with compassion, duty and integrity. Ontario will be best served by a government led by Bonnie Crombie.”

— Sam Nestico, Ontario Liberal Candidate for York Centre

After a successful accounting career, Sam served Ontario for nearly 15 years as a Justice of the Peace and as the President of their association. Sam is currently the Chief Investment Officer for a company which develops, manages and builds residential and commercial properties.

As your next York Centre MPP, Sam’s priorities are health, safety and affordability for every Ontarian. He knows that Bonnie Crombie brings the leadership, experience and professionalism to reach these goals. She is the right leader, at the right time. Sam is proud to bring his passion and energy to her team.
