Liberals in Niagara Falls Nominate Ashley Waters as 2022 Ontario Liberal Party Candidate

December 8, 2021 – Liberals in Niagara Falls have nominated Ashley Waters, a non-profit manager and a community leader, as their Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) candidate for the next provincial election.

“Ashley is truly passionate about helping families in Niagara Falls, and will be a fantastic MPP at Queen’s Park,” said OLP Leader, Steven Del Duca. “I am very happy to have Ashley on our team as we prepare for the provincial election.”

Ashley Waters has worked for Scouts Canada as a non-profit manager for the past 11 years, and prior to that, was a team member for the Scotia Bank Convention Centre in Sales & Marketing. She was also a founding member of NEXTNiagara and served on the Niagara Connects Council to build action plans for transformative socio-economic change in the Niagara Region.

Waters is an active volunteer in the Niagara Falls community, and was a team lead for Pink Pearl Canada this past summer, raising funds for young women affected by cancer.

She has always been passionate about affecting change in the Niagara community, and wants to be a champion for improving education, strengthening our healthcare, and making childcare and housing more affordable.

“I am excited and honoured to have the opportunity to represent the Ontario Liberal Party as the candidate for Niagara Falls,” said Waters. “I am eager to continue meeting with the constituents of Niagara Falls and getting to work to benefit them and our community.”
