MPP Fraser Responds to Doug Ford’s Ultimatum to Education Workers

OTTAWA, ON – John Fraser, MPP for Ottawa South and Interim Leader of the Ontario Liberal Party, has released the following statement in response to Doug Ford’s ultimatum to education workers:

“Ontario Liberals stand ready to go back to the legislature on a moment’s notice. Doug Ford must recall the legislature and rescind his government’s Charter-trampling legislation that threatens the rights of all Ontario workers.

“There is nothing stopping Doug Ford from bargaining in good faith and working to reach a fair deal today. If the Premier is serious about keeping kids in the classroom, he will stop with the ultimatums, rescind Bill 28, and get back to the bargaining table.”
