Liberals in London West Nominate Vanessa Lalonde as Ontario Liberal Party Candidate

April 4, 2022 – Liberals in London West have nominated Vanessa Lalonde, a small business owner and a community advocate, as their Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) candidate for the next provincial election.

“Vanessa believes our province’s most vulnerable people need a much stronger voice at Queen’s Park,” said OLP Leader, Steven Del Duca. “Her passion and hard work will help us to bring a brighter future to our province.”

Lalonde runs a small business with her sister that supports Indigenous artists, creators, and businesses. She is a member of the Oneida Nation of the Thames and regularly participates in Indigenous cultural events in the region.

She has also organized holiday and back-to-school collections to support women and children staying in local shelters. Lalonde cares deeply about the people in her community and believes that we can work towards a much greater life for all Ontarians.

“I am looking forward to working for the people of London West as well as all Ontarians to create a more equitable Ontario,” said Lalonde. “I am truly honoured to work with the Ontario Liberal Team and believe that our future is bright.”
