Liberals in York South—Weston Nominate Nadia Guerrera as 2022 Ontario Liberal Party Candidate

Liberals in York South—Weston have nominated Nadia Guerrera, an educator and community advocate, as their Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) candidate for the 2022 provincial election.

“Nadia brings the welcomed perspective of an educator to our team at a time when our publicly funded education system is being constantly undermined by Doug Ford,” said OLP Leader, Steven Del Duca. “Her passion and work ethic will serve the people of York South—Weston and I am excited to have her join our team”.

Guerrera is a long-time local educator, and founder and executive director of Orwell Art, an international education initiative that teaches youth globally, about democracy, civic engagement and human rights through the arts. Nadia is passionate about ensuring affordable and sustainable housing, improving transit and fighting for fairness in every sector across Ontario.

“I ran in 2018 because I strongly believe that we need to invest in healthcare and education,” said Guerrera. “Today, we need strong champions for education and healthcare more than ever before. I’m honoured to be our candidate for York South—Weston, the community I teach in.”
