Liberals in Milton Nominate Sameera Ali as 2022 Ontario Liberal Party Candidate

Liberals in Milton have nominated Sameera Ali, a local Town Councillor and a dedicated community volunteer, as their Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) candidate for the next provincial election.

“Sameera has a record of fighting for Milton as a local Town Councillor,” said OLP Leader, Steven Del Duca. “I’m very happy to have her on our team as we get ready to take on Doug Ford in the next provincial election.”

Ali, Town Councillor for Ward 4 of Milton, is a committed community volunteer who has worked hard to help the people of her ward––and all of Milton––prosper.  Holding a Master’s Degree in International Relations & Public Relations, Ali is passionate about issues relating to youth, poverty reduction and seniors and is a sitting member of Milton’s Youth Task Force.

“I am very excited to have this opportunity to be part of the Ontario Liberal team, so we can work hard to build an Ontario where everyone has the opportunity to succeed” said Ali. “I know that together, we can succeed in 2022.”
