TORONTO, ON – Bonnie Crombie, Leader of Ontario’s Liberals, released the following statement about Doug Ford’s failure to tackle auto thefts and keep Ontario families safe:
“Doug Ford has been Premier for over six years. In that time, he has failed to tackle auto thefts and keep Ontario families safe.
“He complains about auto theft and blames everyone — but himself.
“The truth is that after six years of inaction, Ford isn’t interested in fixing what’s broken. Today’s re-announcement of a previous commitment just proves the point.
“Instead, Ford spends all his time catering to his rich insiders, selling off public assets to make his rich buddies even richer.
“Where Ford has failed, Ontario’s Liberals will take real action to equip police to do their important jobs. We’ll keep our communities safe.”
