Your Beaches—East York Provincial Liberal Association is excited to be hosting our 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, March 19th, at 6:30 PM at the Naval Club, 1910 Gerrard St. E. You will find AGM details below.
Along with our MPP Mary-Margaret McMahon, we are also thrilled to welcome our new leader Bonnie Crombie for a meet & greet with members immediately following our AGM. Members who are registered to attend the Annual General Meeting at the Naval Club will be invited to remain to meet Bonnie.

Notice of Annual General Meeting
Beaches—East York Provincial Liberal Association
NOTICE is hereby given of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the constituency association of Beaches—East York to elect the Executive Officers and to conduct the annual business of the Association.
Meeting Date: March 19, 2024
Meeting Time: 6:30 PM
Meeting Location: Naval Club Toronto, 1910 Gerrard St E, Toronto, ON M4L 2C1
Elections will take place for the following positions on the association executive:
- a) President
- b) Vice-President
- c) Secretary
- d) Treasurer
- e) Directors (11) *pending constitutional amendment vote at AGM

Eligibility to Vote (Membership Cutoff)
You are eligible to vote at this AGM if you are:
- A resident of the provincial electoral district of Beaches—East York who is a member of the Ontario Liberal Party at 5:00 PM on March 12, 2024; or
- A non-resident member of the association who has been a member continuously since November 18, 2016.
Registration for Voting
To register to vote, please bring your identification to the AGM on March 19, 2024. Identification can be:
Option 1: ONE government-issued ID with your photo, name and current address. (examples: driver’s license, Ontario photo card) OR
Option 2: TWO pieces of ID
- one issued by a widely recognized major institution (governments, financial institutions, or educational institutions) showing your name (examples: health card, birth certificate, passport, band membership card, student card, credit card) AND
- one issued by a widely recognized major institution showing your name and your current address (e.g. bank or credit card statement, utility bill, tax assessment)
Standing for a Position on the Provincial Liberal Association Executive
If you are interested to stand for any of the above positions, you must notify the Secretary of the Ontario Liberal Party in writing of your intention to stand by sending an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Intention to stand – Beaches—East York” by no later than 5:00 PM on March 12, 2024. Your email must indicate which position you would like to stand for. In your email, you may include a brief write-up and/or a photo to be circulated to voting members. The write-up shall be no more than 300 words, may be a message to members or a biography, and may include your contact information (including links to social media or webpage). The photo must be no larger than 1MB and may be cropped/scaled down by staff before distribution.
