Today, Muslims in Ontario and all around the world will celebrate Eid Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him.
This is a great opportunity to reflect on the contributions of our Muslim community in Ontario. During the pandemic, many have stepped up to help those in need. The Muslim community is a truly vibrant part of Ontario’s fabric and I want to thank all community leaders and volunteers for their hard work and efforts.
I know celebrations will be different this year, but I know our Muslim community will celebrate the Prophet’s birthday safely.
