Hamilton Centre By-Election

We have an incredible candidate in Hamilton Centre who needs our help. This weekend, help us send Deirdre Pike to Queen’s Park by volunteering to knock on doors and make phone calls.

Visit the booth in the main hallway across from the coat check anytime this weekend! The team will be connecting with Hamiltonians on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Volunteering

Like every Annual Meeting, this convention will be powered by our volunteers, who we will rely on to ensure registration, voting, and all of our events run smoothly. Without them, it would not be possible to have the fantastic weekend we are all anticipating.

By sparing just a couple of hours to help out during the Annual Meeting, you’ll make a huge impact on our ability to move our party forward.

Parking

The Hamilton Convention Centre is directly connected to a six-level underground parking garage operated by the City of Hamilton Municipal Parking Authority, able to accommodate up to 600 vehicles at once. Because this is a municipal-owned lot, parking charges will apply based on the duration of stay and can range anywhere from $2.00 per hour to a daily maximum of $11.00.

Public Health Measures

It is strongly recommended that you wear a mask during the Annual Meeting. Staff and volunteers can provide you with a disposable mask if you need one, but please bring your own if you are able to.

The Hamilton Convention Centre conducted upgrades to their HVAC system during the pandemic, which has improved ventilation. They have also increased hand sanitizing stations around the building and before food stations.

Prayer Room

Room 204 has been reserved, all weekend, as a prayer room.

Shabbat Candle Lighting

On Friday, March 3, join at 5:45 p.m. in Room 202 for a traditional Shabbat Candle Lighting with Ontario Jewish community leaders, alongside Ontario Liberal Party delegates, members and observers.
