DEL DUCA: Hotspots Need Second Doses Now

TORONTO – Steven Del Duca, Leader of the Ontario Liberal Party, issued the following statement:

“With the Delta variant becoming more prominent and test positivity remaining high in hotspots, Doug Ford needs to immediately resume hotspot vaccine allocations.

Reports this morning say he’s once again dithering over the move. That’s not good enough when calls for the change have been persistent for more than a week.

We need immediate action to help prevent any chance of a fourth wave in Ontario. The top priority needs to be getting second doses to people in hotspots.”
