Tax cut will deliver $1,150 in permanent financial relief for Ontario families
Bonnie Crombie will deliver a historic tax cut plan for the people of Ontario – by eliminating Doug Ford’s giveaways to his wealthy buddies.
The More For You Tax Cut would:
- Cut the income tax rate for middle-class Ontario families; and
- Eliminate sales tax (HST) on home heating and hydro bills.

The More For You Tax Cut would be the largest tax relief plan for the people of Ontario in over a decade, saving a middle-class family approximately $1,150 every year.
This builds on previously announced Ontario Liberal tax cuts including reducing the small business tax rate by half and a commitment to end the consumer carbon tax.
Collectively, Bonnie Crombie’s plan will provide permanent financial relief to the people of Ontario – paid for by putting an end to the shady backroom deals Doug Ford has given to his wealthy friends and insiders over the last six years.
