FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

September 2, 2020 – Liberals in Brampton North have nominated Harinder Malhi, a passionate community advocate, as their Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) candidate for the 2022 provincial election.

“I have had the pleasure of serving alongside Harinder both in Caucus as well as in Cabinet, and she’s always been a relentless advocate for Brampton” said OLP Leader, Steven Del Duca. “I look forward to working with Harinder once again as we prepare for the next election.”

Malhi has been an active community builder in Brampton for the past 20 years, serving as a Peel School Board Trustee and MPP. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration and Governance from Ryerson University and is an MBA candidate at the Rotman School of Management.

“I am excited to work with our community to rebuild the Ontario Liberal Party, so we can build an equitable Ontario where everyone is given an equal opportunity to succeed,” said Malhi. “I am proud to be running under the leadership of Steven Del Duca, as the candidate for Brampton North in the 2022 Provincial Election.”
