Notice of Annual General Meeting 
Oshawa Provincial Liberal Association

 

NOTICE is hereby given of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the constituency association of Oshawa to elect the Executive Officers and to conduct the annual business of the Association.

 

Elections will take place for the following positions on the association executive:
a)   President
b)   Executive Vice President
c)   Secretary
d)   Treasurer
e)   Directors (10)

 

Eligibility to Vote (Membership Cutoff)
You are eligible to vote at this AGM if you are a resident of the provincial electoral district of Oshawa who is a member of the Ontario Liberal Party at 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 21, 2025

 

Identification for Voting
Please bring your identification to the AGM on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Identification can be:

 

Option 1: ONE government-issued ID with your photo, name and current address. (examples: driver’s license, Ontario photo card) OR

 

Option 2: TWO pieces of ID
  • one issued by a widely recognized major institution (governments, financial institutions, or educational institutions) showing your name (examples: health card, birth certificate, passport, band membership card, student card, credit card) AND
  • one issued by a widely recognized major institution showing your name and your current address (e.g. bank or credit card statement, utility bill, tax assessment)

 

Standing for a Position on the Provincial Liberal Association Executive
If you are interested to stand for any of the above positions, you must notify the Secretary of the Ontario Liberal Party in writing of your intention to stand by sending an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Intention to stand – Oshawa” by no later than 5:00 PM on Sunday, September 21, 2025. Your email must indicate which position you would like to stand for.
