TORONTO – Steven Del Duca, Leader of the Ontario Liberal Party, issued the following statement:
“Just over one month ago, Doug Ford’s government sent a memo to school boards around the province foreshadowing cuts and job losses for education workers. Doug Ford needs to stop keeping education workers in the dark and release the funding school boards rely on now.
Ontario’s education workers have endured so much this past year. Going into unsafe classrooms day in and day out, with revolving closures forcing them to go virtual. They deserve to know if their job is safe heading into the next school year, or if Doug Ford will abandon them once again.”
