Liberals in Scarborough Southwest Nominate Lisa Patel as 2022 Ontario Liberal Party Candidate

February 19, 2022 – Liberals in Scarborough Southwest have nominated Lisa Patel, an entrepreneur and community advocate, as their Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) candidate for the next provincial election.

“Lisa is a tremendous leader with a passion to improve her community and help those around her,” said OLP Leader, Steven Del Duca. “With Lisa as their MPP, residents in Scarborough Southwest will have a strong voice and a proven fighter at Queen’s Park.”

Lisa Patel founded the Lisa Patel Team, composed of experienced real estate staff who work diligently to find individuals, families and businesses the perfect spaces to live and work. Patel is also the Immediate Past President of the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board and has served as a director for many years.

Patel is passionate about giving back to the community and has worked with several groups including the Canadian Real Estate Association and the Ontario Real Estate Association. Patel has also worked with Futurpreneur Canada for close to 15 years as a mentor and coach to assist young entrepreneurs meet their business goals.

“It’s time for a new path in Ontario,” said Patel. “It’s time to listen to what our neighbourhoods need, and bring strong advocacy to Queen’s Park for generations to come.”
