QUEEN’S PARK – John Fraser, Interim Leader of the Ontario Liberal Party and MPP for Ottawa South, has released the following statement:
“The Conservatives are continuing to make it up as they go along. This review will not change the fact that Doug Ford cracked open the Greenbelt as an opportunity to reward his rich friends and donors — to the tune of $8.3 billion.
“The only review Ontarians want from this government is one that will get to the bottom of this deceitful $8.3 billion cash-for-your-land-scheme.
“Ontario Liberals have called for the Standing Committee on Heritage, Infrastructure and Cultural Policy to meet this week so we can begin the process of reviewing relevant documents and interviewing those involved.
“Minister Calandra is the House Leader, he can make that happen.”
