Liberals in Nickel Belt Nominate Gilles Proulx as 2022 Ontario Liberal Party Candidate

March 7, 2022 – Liberals in Nickel Belt have nominated Gilles Proulx, an elementary school teacher and community leader, as their Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) candidate for the next provincial election.

“As an elementary school teacher, Gilles understands what it means to serve his community and help those that call Nickel Belt home” said OLP Leader, Steven Del Duca. “Gilles will be a fantastic MPP and I am very happy to have him on our team as we prepare for the upcoming provincial election.”

Gilles Proulx has been a dedicated elementary teacher for nearly 29 years, and is passionate about helping students and ensuring they get the best possible start in life. Proulx is running to be the next MPP for Nickel Belt because he believes change is needed in Ontario and that we can and must do more to help Ontario families.

“I am honoured to be the Ontario Liberal Party candidate for Nickel Belt,” said Proulx. “I will work hard to fight for all Ontarians and ensure that the voices of Northern and Franco-Ontarians are heard at Queen’s Park.”
