Liberals in Eglinton—Lawrence Nominate Arlena Hebert as 2022 Ontario Liberal Party Candidate

March 6, 2022 – Liberals in Eglinton—Lawrence have nominated Arlena Hebert, a business leader and community advocate, as their Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) candidate for the next provincial election.

“Arlena is an incredible leader with a strong passion for making life better for the families that call Eglinton—Lawrence home,” said OLP Leader, Steven Del Duca. “I am very happy to have Arlena on our team as we prepare to take on Doug Ford.”

Arlena Hebert has strong roots in Eglinton—Lawrence where she has lived with her family for over 25 years. She has been a long-serving board member and president of a residents’ group in Eglinton—Lawrence, advocating with and on behalf of residents for more than 20 years. In recognition of her community work, she was awarded with the Volunteer Award of Distinction from the City of Toronto in 2016.

In the past year, she has met thousands of people in the riding and she hopes to address issues that are important to the Eglinton—Lawrence community at Queen’s Park.

“As a seasoned business leader and a dedicated volunteer with strong roots in Eglinton—Lawrence for over 25 years, I am delighted to have the opportunity to be a strong voice for the Eglinton—Lawrence community as the Ontario Liberal candidate,” said Hebert. “I am ready to roll up my sleeves and get to work on day one for our vibrant community to make progress on issues that matter most, like affordable housing, health care, seniors’ care, urgent action on climate change, stronger public education and mental health.”
