Liberals in Mississauga-Erin Mills Nominate Imran Mian as 2022 Ontario Liberal Party Candidate

Liberals in Mississauga-Erin Mills have nominated Imran Mian, an accomplished business executive, as their Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) candidate for the 2022 provincial election.

“Whether it comes to his career or giving back to the many initiatives he is involved in, Imran is incredibly hard working and a champion for his community.” said OLP Leader, Steven Del Duca. “I’m very happy to have him joining our team as we take on Doug Ford in 2022.”

Mian is currently Vice-President, Sales of an award-winning GTA technology company, and has held a variety of other managerial roles over a twenty plus-year career in business and technology. As a dedicated community volunteer, he served as the founding co-chair of the United Way of Peel Region’s South Asian Advisory Council and served as a board member of Family Services of Peel.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has changed our lives forever,” said Mian. “The uncertainty caused because of the pandemic demands a response from the Ontario government that leaves no one behind. Doug Ford shows up but doesn’t have a plan. Only a strong team led by Steven Del Duca can deliver progress for every Ontarian – be it for our frontline workers, educators, students, small business owners or seniors. Mississauga-Erin Mills deserves a strong and committed representative who will fight for them and stand up to the empty rhetoric of Doug Ford. It would be a privilege to be your next MPP for Mississauga-Erin Mills.”
