Steven Del Duca Makes Statement Celebrating Eid al Adha

Tonight, Muslim communities around the world mark the beginning of Eid al Adha, which marks the end of the Hajj.

Eid al Adha celebrates sacrifices, compassion, generosity and faith, and is commonly marked by prayer, feasts and family gatherings.

While Eid al Adha is usually a time to celebrate with family and friends, this year’s celebrations will be different. Still, we may all take this time to reflect on the sacrifices we make, and celebrate the many contributions that Ontario’s Muslim Community makes to our province.

On behalf of my family, and the Ontario Liberal Party, I wish all of those celebrating a wonderful celebration and an Eid al-Adha Mubarak!
