TORONTO, ON — Team Bonnie ended 2024 on a historic high note, raising over $5.4 million from more than 11,227 donors making 80,214 individual donations, the highest total for the party in any year since the fundraising rules changed in 2016. The average donation to the party is roughly $67.
This broad-based financial support cements that Team Bonnie is the only party capable of defeating Doug Ford’s Conservatives in the next provincial election.

With a growing war chest, a dedicated base of supporters, the most nominated candidates of any party and record-breaking volunteer engagement through four grassroots Days of Action, Ontario’s Liberals are well-positioned to compete whenever the next election is called. The party was the only party to increase its support in last year’s byelections, by an average of over 9%.
