Liberals in Toronto—St. Paul’s Nominate Dr. Nathan Stall as 2022 Ontario Liberal Party Candidate

August 26, 2021 – Liberals in Toronto—St. Paul’s have nominated Dr. Nathan Stall, a doctor specializing in internal medicine and geriatrics, a researcher focused on seniors and long-term care, and an expert who served on Ontario’s COVID-19 Science Advisory Table, as their Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) candidate for the next provincial election.

“Nathan’s expertise in healthcare is what we need to ensure Ontarians remain safe and healthy during the pandemic recovery,” said OLP Leader, Steven Del Duca. “I know that with Nathan at Queen’s Park, the residents of Toronto—St. Paul’s will have someone in their corner who is truly ready to fight for them and their families.”

Stall received his medical degree from Western University and completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Toronto. He is currently a research fellow at Women’s College Research Institute at Women’s College Hospital, and is completing a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology & Health Care Research at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto.

During the COVID-19 pandemic he served as the Assistant Scientific Director of Ontario’s COVID-19 Science Advisory Table and sat on the Modeling Consensus Table and the Congregate Care Setting Working Group. He is currently the Network Science Advisor for CanCOVID, a federally funded organization which rapidly produces and shares credible knowledge to help inform public health guidance during the COVID‑19 pandemic and post-pandemic future.

“I’m humbled and honoured to stand as the Ontario Liberal Candidate for Toronto—St. Paul’s, a very special community where my wife and I live, and where we’re raising our twin girls,” said Stall. “I look forward to representing my community at Queen’s Park and working tirelessly with Steven Del Duca and the Ontario Liberal Party to build a more fair and inclusive province.”
