Today, we join the Filipino community in Ontario and around the world to celebrate the 122nd
anniversary of Philippine Independence.
The Philippine community in Ontario is strong, vibrant and growing. While today’s celebrations
are different than most years, this wonderful community will continue to make a deep
contribution to our province.
I join all Ontarians in celebrating the important contributions of that the Filipino community has
made – and continues to make – to our country.
On behalf of the Ontario Liberal Party, I extend my best wishes to all those celebrating
Philippine Independence Day, Ontario and around the world.
