Results Show that Ontario’s Liberals are the Clear Alternative to Ford’s Conservatives

BELLEVILLE, ON – Tonight’s results in Bay of Quinte once again send the strong message that Bonnie Crombie and Ontario’s Liberals are the only alternative to Doug Ford in the upcoming election. With a strong second-place finish in a traditionally Conservative riding, Bonnie Crombie’s Ontario Liberals have become firmly established as the only opposition able to take on Doug Ford.

Ontario’s Liberals will continue to hold the Ford Conservatives accountable for choosing to reward their rich insider friends instead of fighting for the real people of Ontario and the issues they care about like healthcare, housing and education.

“Bay of Quinte families deserve a fresh, honest voice representing their needs at Queen’s Park. We’ve been the underdogs since day one, yet the voters sent a clear message that we are the only party who can take on Doug Ford. Ford’s Conservatives have shown their only interest is to help his rich friends and wealthy insiders.”

— Bonnie Crombie, Leader of the Ontario’s Liberals
