Steven Del Duca Issues Statement on Israel’s Independence Day

72 years ago Israel declared its independence.

I want to extend my best wishes to Ontario’s Jewish community on this important day.

This year, celebrations will have to be a little different, as we must all physically distance to stop the spread of COVID-19, but I know that virtual festivities will be held.

On behalf of the Ontario Liberal Party, Happy Birthday Israel! You’re 72 years young and looking great.
