Liberals in Simcoe North Nominate Aaron Cayden Hiltz as Ontario Liberal Party Candidate

April 5, 2022 – Liberals in Simcoe North have nominated Aaron Cayden Hiltz, education and community representation advocate, as their Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) candidate for the next provincial election.

“As a long-time education advocate, Aaron understands how much work is needed to get publicly funded education on track after two brutal years,” said OLP Leader, Steven Del Duca. “I have no doubt Aaron will be a strong voice on education, and a fantastic MPP for Simcoe North.”

In addition to his work on access to education, Hiltz is a vocal advocate for community representation and social justice. He has worked to address systemic issues of underfunding in colleges and universities, as well as enhanced support for mental health initiatives in educational institutions. Hiltz believes that financial barriers are the main barriers to getting a college diploma or university degree, and he still works to ensure that low-income students have access to good education.

“I care deeply for my community, our environment, and our collective way of life,” said Hiltz. “I look forward to continuing this work as Simcoe North’s next MPP.”
