Ontario Liberals Tap Experienced Executive Leader to Run in University—Rosedale

TORONTO – Andrea Barrack, an experienced executive leader in the private, public and not for profit sectors, and former CEO of the Ontario Trillium Foundation, has been appointed as the next Ontario Liberal candidate for University—Rosedale.

“Andrea Barrack is the kind of strong leader and community advocate the people of University—Rosedale deserve,” said OLP Leader, Steven Del Duca. “Andrea’s years of experience managing large organizations gives her the skills needed to get results for her community.”

Barrack has called University—Rosedale home for the last decade and holds a Master of Health Science in Health Administration from the University of Toronto. In 2016, she was named in the Women’s Executive Network Top 100 Most Powerful Women in the Trendsetter and Trailblazer category.

Barrack has decades of experience in executive management, leading large teams across various sectors in Canada and internationally. She has participated on the Board of International Planned Parenthood Federation at the national, regional and global level for over 15 years. Barrack also chaired the Dean’s Council at Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University for six years and was appointed an inaugural board member of Ontario Health from 2019 to 2021.

“I am honoured to be the Ontario Liberal Party candidate for University—Rosedale, a community I have been proud to call home for many years,” said Barrack. “As someone who’s dedicated so much of my career to fostering change in organizations, I look forward to using that experience to bring positive change to the people of University—Rosedale.”
