Liberals Ask Parents And Educators To Document Back To School

Doug Ford needs to hear the truth

TORONTO, ON – Steven Del Duca and the Ontario Liberal Party are calling on students, parents and everyone who works on the front lines in education to help hold the Ford government to account.

“Across Ontario, Moms and Dads are anxious about the safety of their children and are still looking for answers a week away from Labour Day.  They still don’t know what will happen if a student in their child’s class is sick – they don’t even know if they will be informed,” said Steven Del Duca, Leader of the Ontario Liberal Party.

The Ontario Liberal Party has launched www.KeepOurSchoolsSafe.ca to document the experiences of students, parents and everyone who works on the front lines in education.

“We need everyone’s help to share local stories and concerns about back to school. We want to hear about how teachers, caretakers and support staff have stepped up to help make the transition back to school better because Doug Ford has been missing in action.”

“Because when we are talking about the safety of our students, parents and education workers, we have to get it right.”

“I am proud to stand with students, parents and everyone who works on the front lines in education. Together we will hold the government accountable for dropping the ball on the reopening of our schools,” concluded Del Duca.
