TORONTO – Ontario Liberal Leader, Steven Del Duca issued the following statement:
“We’ve seen time and time again that Doug Ford can’t deliver the right thing at the right time. With vaccine certificates launching today, there’s still so much confusion across the province.
We need a strong, bold implementation of vaccine certificates. There’s no time for chaos and confusion during this fourth wave.
We need to strengthen and expand mandates, and support business owners as they do their part to protect our communities during the reopening. That means implementing the Ontario Liberal Plan to Mandate Safety, to keep our most vulnerable safe with strong measures.
The federal election showed that people want a government that follows science and acts quickly to do the right thing. If Ford isn’t prepared to do that, Ontario Liberals are.”
