TORONTO – Steven Del Duca, Leader of the Ontario Liberal Party, issued the following statement:
“Today, after weeks in hiding, Doug Ford made another public appearance, all to continue passing the buck to the Federal Government. Time for Doug Ford to get back to work, drop the political games, stop hiding for weeks at a time, and listen to the Science Table, including their calls for 10 days of paid sick leave.
How much shorter could this lockdown have been had he listened to the Science Table’s recommendations? Or if he delivered a clear vaccine rollout instead of Ontario’s Vaccine Hunger Games? And yet Doug Ford continues to shamefully blame others for the third wave.”
