BRAMPTON, ON – Andrew Kania, a former Member of Parliament and lawyer, has been officially nominated as the Ontario Liberal candidate for Brampton West.
“I’ve known Andrew for years, and have seen time and time again as he has fought for the people of Brampton — in the House of Commons, in court, and as a fierce advocate for his community.
“Together, we have a plan to deliver more for the people of Brampton. More affordability, by cutting income taxes and taking the HST off home heating and hydro. More access to health care, by finding you a family doctor and cutting wait times in hospital emergency rooms. More to help young people afford a home, by cutting taxes on new builds and bringing fairness back to the rental market.
“It’s time to deliver more for the people of Brampton. I’m excited to announce that Andrew is officially our Ontario Liberal candidate for Brampton West!”
— Bonnie Crombie, Leader of Ontario’s Liberals
“Bonnie and I were Members of Parliament together. During this period of time I witnessed Bonnie’s brilliance, good nature and concern for others.
“I know that she understands that the people of Ontario are living through an affordability crisis under Doug Ford and that she will be laser focused on providing financial relief. I am proud to be running as part of Bonnie’s team.”
