Healthcare Should be About Patients, Not Profits
Tell Doug Ford to Stop Privatizing our Healthcare
Ontario is in a healthcare crisis. But instead of investing in healthcare workers, Doug Ford’s Conservatives are turning to solutions like private nursing agencies and for-profit independent health facilities that will lead to poorer outcomes for patients and pull our healthcare workers out of the public system where they are needed most.
This is wrong.
When it comes to your health, the primary concern should be what’s in your best interest, not the bottom line for the value of a stock.
Simply put, we need more public healthcare in Ontario, not less. We need public funding for things like mental health, medications, primary care and homecare so that patients can get help where and when they need it, while relieving pressure on our strained healthcare system.
