Manager of Digital Communications

Role Overview

The Ontario Liberal Party (OLP) is looking for a Manager of Digital Communications to assist with our efforts to connect with and inform Ontarians.

You will lead digital and social media efforts and create graphics to assist with our communications. You will be the main point of contact at the Party office for local campaign teams seeking communications help, and you will work with them to design and develop their advertising materials. You will also work with a team of volunteer translators and spearhead efforts to keep our growing membership informed of party operations. 

Work Location

This is primarily a remote position and you will have significant flexibility on work location. However, you must be able to work from the Party office on occasion and more frequently closer to the general election in June of 2026.


  • Make information readily available to voters by maintaining the OLP website and creating and maintaining the websites of all OLP candidates.
  • Draft and execute comprehensive email campaigns designed to inform party members, solicit donations, and complement broader communication initiatives.
  • Manage a team of volunteer translators to ensure internal and external communications are bilingual.
  • Oversee the announcement of local candidate nominations, ensuring news is shared on the party’s social media accounts, its website, and directly to members via email marketing. 
  • Serve as a central communications support for local campaigns that require assistance enhancing local outreach initiatives. 
  • Assist with the creation of digital and print designs, including literature materials for local campaigns and graphics for social media.
  • Manage the OLPs social media accounts across X, Facebook and Instagram, ensuring these channels are an integral part of our efforts to communicate with Ontarians. 


  • Two to three years of experience in a communications role; within political parties or campaigns is an asset. 
  • Proficient with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, or alternative, with experience in graphic design; video editing is an asset.  
  • Experience managing social media campaigns across X, Facebook and Instagram.
  • Strong writing skills including the ability to adapt messaging to write persuasive content.
  • Experience with WordPress is an asset. 
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • English fluency is required; French is an asset.


The role reports to the Director of Communications.  

Salary and Benefits

Benefits package including drug, dental, and vision. 

Salary range: $50,000 – $70,000 per year.
